Commercial Roofing in Topeka

Commercial roofing for Topeka, Manhattan, Junction City, Salina and the small towns of Northeast Kansas, run out of our St. Marys office. Flat roofs, metal buildings, churches, schools and Main Street storefronts — with free documented inspections.

Local, in the literal sense

Our home office is in St. Marys, on US-24 between Topeka and Manhattan. That puts most of Northeast Kansas inside an easy drive, and it means the crew working on your building is not dispatched from three hours away after a storm has already booked out the region.

The buildings out here

This market is not glass office towers. It is grain and ag buildings, county and municipal facilities, schools, churches, clinics, Main Street storefronts with decades-old built-up roofs, and a great deal of exposed-fastener metal that went up 25 to 40 years ago.

That last category is where owners most often expect bad news and get good news instead. The usual problem on an aging metal roof is rust at the laps, backed-out screws and failed sealant — not failed panels. Re-fastening, sealing the seams and applying a restoration coating typically costs a fraction of re-roofing and resets the clock a decade or more. See commercial metal roofing.

What we do

Storms are not hypothetical here

On April 28, 2025, hail up to 1.75 inches fell across parts of Riley County with gusts over 50 mph, hitting Manhattan neighborhoods including Candlewood, Amherst and Northview. Damage from a storm like that is often invisible from the ground and surfaces as leaks a season or two later — by which point tying it to the storm is harder and carriers are less willing. If your area was hit, get it documented.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work on farm and ag buildings?

Yes — metal roof repair, re-fastening, coatings and re-roofing on barns, shops and machine sheds, and on the house while we are there.

Are you too far away for a small town?

St. Marys is a small town. Most of Northeast Kansas is a comfortable drive, and small-town work is a large share of what we do.

Can you coat a metal roof instead of replacing it?

Usually, if the panels are sound and the deck is dry. We check first and tell you honestly which one your roof needs.

Do you handle church and school projects?

Yes, including phased work that fits a budget cycle and scheduling around services or the school calendar.
