What to do right now
- Protect people and equipment. Move inventory, electronics and anything under the leak. Put down containment.
- Shut off power to any fixtures or equipment where water is present.
- Stay off the roof. Wet and storm-damaged roofs are dangerous, and walking on them can make damage worse.
- Photograph the interior damage with the date and time, for your insurance file.
- Call (800) 674-9535 and tell us the leak is active.
What we do on an emergency call
- Locate the entry point — often not directly above the drip
- Temporary seal, patch or tarp to stop the water
- Clear blocked drains and scuppers that are backing water up
- Document the damage for your insurance claim
- Written scope for the permanent repair
What it costs
Emergency and after-hours calls typically run 25–50% above scheduled repair rates, because crews are mobilized on short notice, often at night or in bad weather. The temporary fix is usually a modest cost; the permanent repair is priced separately once we can see the full damage. If the leak came from a storm, both are often recoverable through your insurance claim.
How to avoid the next one
Most emergency leaks trace back to something a routine inspection would have caught: a clogged drain, a split pipe boot, a seam starting to open. A maintenance plan costs less per year than one emergency call.

Frequently asked questions
Can you repair a roof while it is raining?
We can stop water temporarily in the rain. Permanent repairs need a dry surface for adhesives, welds and sealants to bond, so they follow once the weather clears.
Will insurance cover an emergency leak?
If the leak was caused by a sudden event such as hail or wind, emergency mitigation is typically covered. Leaks from wear and age usually are not. Keep your receipts either way.
Do you handle residential emergencies too?
Yes. Tarping and leak stabilization for homes after storms is a regular part of our work in both markets.
