| Storm-damaged edge metal | Damaged ridge vents and gutter-line rot |
Storm season repairs
From late March through November, most of our residential repair calls trace back to wind rather than hail: lifted tabs, broken seals, damaged ridge caps. Heavy rain then finds whatever the wind opened. If a storm went through and you are seeing a leak, it is worth documenting before repairing — the work may belong in an insurance claim.
Ponding water
Atlanta downpours expose undersized or blocked drainage fast. Water still standing 48 hours after rain is a defect, not a quirk — it adds weight, breaks down membrane and voids many warranties. Repairs range from clearing and resizing drains to adding tapered insulation to rebuild slope. See commercial roof repair.
Emergency leaks
Call (800) 674-9535 and say the leak is active. We stabilize first — tarp or temporary patch, clear whatever is backing water up — then repair permanently once the roof is dry. After-hours and emergency work runs 25–50% above scheduled rates.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a repair cost?
Commercial repairs typically $300 to $4,500; residential usually a few hundred to a couple of thousand. The costs page breaks it down by type.
Should I repair or replace?
On commercial, the line is roughly 25–30% of the roof damaged. On a house it is age plus how many places are leaking. The inspection answers it with photos.
Can you repair after a tropical storm?
Yes. Remnant systems push inland here, and the damage is usually wind-driven. We document it for your carrier.
Do you offer maintenance so this stops recurring?
Yes — spring and fall inspections with minor repairs included. See maintenance plans.
